Mr. Orellana has served as director of the State of Idaho-Mexico Trade Office since it opened in 1994.  As director, he provides direct counseling to Idaho exporters on Mexico and Latin America business opportunities, develops buyer contacts and assists companies in their market expansion efforts.

Mr. Orellana is a Mexican national with an industrial engineering degree from the National Autonomous University and a Master in Business Administration from the ITESM.   Mr. Orellana brings a strong business background to the Idaho-Mexico Trade Office, having spent 18 years working for such firms as Mitel de Mexico, DuPont, Morganite del Caribe and Sperry, prior to joining the Idaho-Mexico Trade Office.

He and his wife, Patricia, have two children, Armando and Karla.
