Sample Submissions Instructions

1.   Feeds and grains: One to five pounds in a sturdy plastic bag.

2.   Fertilizers:   One to five pounds in a sturdy plastic bag.

3.   Soil amendments and composts:   A minimum of one gallon of material sealed in a plastic bag, chilled, and shipped immediately.   If sampled from a pile, take subsamples from five subsurface locations.

4.   Liquid feeds or fertilizers: A minimum of a half pint in a tightly sealed plastic jar or bottle placed inside a plastic bag.

5.   Whole cottonseed (aflatoxin screen):   Five to ten pounds of dry material in a sturdy breathable bag. If using plastic, puncture a few small holes to permit airflow.
