2010 Bruneau Road-Side Inspection Station
The Bruneau inspection station is located at the intersection of Highway 51 and Highway 78 east of the Bruneau town site. This station is only for northbound traffic.
Owyhee County Sheriff Daryl Crandall has provided support for the Quagga Mussel Inspection program by approving use of Owyhee County law enforcement vehicles at the Bruneau and Marsing Inspection Stations.
These vehicles are used by Special Deputies that are certified Inspectors to pursue, stop and inspect watercraft in transport that have failed to stop for inspection at a station. A special thank you is owed to Sheriff Crandall for the support he has provided.
